Getting more of the right people for less

Background
Trafford Housing manages over 9,500 quality affordable homes in Manchester. Their mission is to be at the heart of creating neighbourhoods in Trafford that are safe, clean, with strong communities and are places that people choose to live in. They’re a group of likeminded professionals who put the interests of others first. They’re always looking to recruit talented people who care about the same things they do. In short, they wanted to attract people with right cultural fit for housing.

Firm supporters of the North West’s business community, they asked Beyond Interactive to reduce their reliance upon press advertising, and help them get better value-for-money from their recruitment spend.

Solution
Targeting the best-performing job boards in the North West, we were able to tap into their target audience: community-minded people. In other words, we set out to deliver people with right cultural fit. To ensure flexibility of this strategy, we identified specific media plans for every level of vacancy they might need to fill. This enabled us to market roles not just to the right numbers of candidates, but the also people with the right qualities too.

Results
Trafford Housing Trust now receives an average of 15 quality applications per role and 1 in 10 candidates who view each vacancy click to apply
