CGA
Local press v Online
Background
The CGA was the first housing association in England to be set up as a community gateway. This means the association places tenants and communities at the heart of its decisions, and gives local people lots of opportunities to shape its work.
Recruiting quality candidates is key to CGA’s future. Traditionally, local press has always been their platform for recruitment advertising which has proved to be very expensive.
Due to the growth of online recruitment, the response levels of their local press adverts have decreased, unlike the cost. It is for this reason that CGS approached Beyond Interactive to help them reduce costs and boost response levels through effective online recruitment advertising, initially for 3 roles for their HR Team.
Solution
We wrote specific online job copy and sourced the most suitable sites use, based on some key factors:
1 – sector coverage
2 – testimonials / competitors
3 – brand
4 – stability / customer service
We suggested a generalist job board and two sector specific sites and also managed to obtain heavily discounted packages on their behalf.
Results
Through close monitoring and continuous optimization of their campaign, CGA hired to every single position with a cost per hire of £1,263.33.
