Frazer-Nash Consultancy is one of the UK's biggest and most successful independent engineering consultancies, with offices throughout the UK and Australia. They specialise in solving complex engineering problems, and offer highly sought after technical expertise in areas such as defence, nuclear, energy and transport. They approached us in 2010 to review their recruitment processes. By their own admission their advertising needed some attention. Our brief: to create a new brand that would engage their target audience and reduce their reliance on specialist recruitment consultancies, both in the UK and Australia, for both experienced and graduate markets.
We moved them away from image based advertising to a more engaging, people driven approach to creative. We produced a rolling campaign of advertisements for engineering-specific online and print media for use both in the UK (e.g IET, Professional Engineering, Telegraph etc.) and Australia (Australian Defence Magazine, Engineers Australia) as well as for a graduate programme that targeted colleges in the UK).
Since then, we have gone on to deliver several successful campaigns for Frazer-Nash, both for specific 'one-off' hires and for larger campaigns. By changing their employer image and ensuring the right media was utilised, Beyond Interactive has saved Frazer-Nash in excess of £100 K in media and expenditure in the last two years.
